DANOBAT is founded.
Manufacturing of the first external universal grinding machine: model RE600.
The first branch offices on the domestic market are opened. Further afield, the office in Mexico is set up. It is followed in subsequente years by establishments in the United States, Germany, France, China, Brazil and elsewhere.

Design of our own control system, called DANOTROL.

Development of the first optical and laser measurement systems, seeking to offer maximum precision.
We begin to manufacture solutions for the railway industry, specifically lathes for machining axles for Lucchini.
We move into the oil & gas sector with the development of a solution for Argentine manufacturer Tenaris Siderca.
We acquire the renowned, long-standing firm OVERBECK GmbH to extend our range of solutions for grinding.
We begin working with composites, with the development of ADMP technology.
We design & set up a smart workshop for repairing mine trucks for major firm BHP Billiton.
